An independent anthropologist, she has conducted field research among indigenous and traditional populations of the Brazilian Amazon. For twenty years she has been actively engaged in the field and in Italy in favor of the recognition of the lands of several indigenous peoples of that country.
As a humanitarian worker she has worked in international cooperation in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Balkans in projects focused on health and gender, popular communication, differentiated and inclusive education, human rights of minorities.
She has dealt with Maghreb immigration and second generations and in the last 5 years has been engaged in the so-called “southern border”, working on the redemption of the migrant from the trauma of loss and poor reception. In particular, she focused on the social and labour inclusion of unaccompanied foreign children and victims of trafficking.
