Silvia Botti

Silvia Botti (Milan, 1965) is an architect and journalist. Since April 2014 she has been the director of Abitare. After graduating in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, she started writing as a freelance for Il Nuovo Cantiere2 (Etas) and VilleGiardini (Elemond). She then fortunately moved on to the world of women where she worked in costume, fashion and beauty. She was responsible for the editorial staff of the monthly magazine Amica directed by Maria Laura Rodotà and editor-in-chief of Casamica directed by Nanni Odoni, both published by RCS. Within the Department of Architecture and Planning (now Dastu) of the Politecnico di Milano, she has coordinated research and communication projects on the development of the city of Milan and the North West, also editing various publications.
