Mauro Gaspari, accountant, left the profession in ’79 to devote himself to his father’s button factory active since 1946 in the Bergamo area, transforming him in a few years in the company of reference in the sector for creativity and innovation, selling prêt-à-porter buttons, accessories and jewelry, pr companies such as Chanel, Hermés, Louis Vuitton, Dior and other well-known … accomplices of the articles in natural materials created in the Philippines.

In 2016 Gaspari closed its cycle, but the skills and the link with the Philippine company, which has lasted since 1992, remain. From here ARKIMIA was born in 2018 with the desire to bring into interior design and architecture the techniques and materials that have given so much lustre to Gaspari for years: precious and exclusive elements of decoration and furnishing that arise from what Mauro calls “the fairy hands of my boys of Cebu”.
