Marina Parente

Coordinatore di D4T - Design for Territories / Politecnico di Milano



Graduated in architecture in Naples with a specialization in Industrial Design and PhD in Milan, she is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Design of the Polytechnic of Milan. Coordinator of the departmental center “D4T- Design for Territories”, she carries out research, teaching and design activities in the field of design for local development and territorial development and teaches in the degree course in Product Design.
She is the director of the Advanced Training Course in “Brand of Territorial Systems” of Poli.design and of the Master “Designing Culture: art, design, cultural enterprises” jointly with the Catholic University.
She is a member of the ADI-Associazione Disegno Industriale (Industrial Design Association), with which she collaborates as a member of the Technical and Scientific Committee for Continuous and Permanent Professional Training, of the ADI INDEX Commission for “Theoretical, Historical, Critical and Editorial Research” and as a member of the Thematic Commission “Handmade in Italy: the design of Italian territories”.
