Jacopo Acciaro
Fondatore Voltaire Lighting Design
Jacopo Acciaro, founder of Voltaire, graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic and immediately develops a strong interest in the world of light, in particular for lighting design applied to architecture. He is formed in the Studio Arch. Piero Castiglioni, with whom he collaborated for several years before founding Voltaire-Lighting Design, a professional organization composed of architects and industrial designers that develops projects for interior and exterior lighting, as well as studying light fixtures custom made. The studio is involved in several national and international lighting design projects. Among the other project assigned to the studio, there are the new BNL Bank headquarters in Rome, the Porta Nuova Bonnet Complex in Milan and the Westfield Mall in Segrate. Voltaire has also developed lighting projects for important brands including Patek Philippe, Tag Heuer, Allianz Group, Microsoft, Pinko, Damiani Group, Benetton Group and Diesel. Jacopo Acciaro has been working as a professor at the University of Pavia and the European Institute of Design in Milan.
