Giulio Ceppi

Giulio Ceppi (1965) studied Visual design at the Scuola Politecnica di Milano and, after graduating in architecture, obtained a Phd in design at the Politecnico di Milano, where he has been teaching since 1994.
He deals with sensory design and materials design, emerging technologies and strategies for innovation.
Until 1997 he coordinated the Domus Academy Research Centre, founded the Master in Business Design and later became a senior design consultant for Philips Design.

In 1999 he founded Total Tool, a visioning and design strategy company, with offices in Milan and Buenos Aires.
He has held conferences in over 25 countries, written numerous essays on design and curated important exhibitions on the culture of design.
He has received, among others, numerous mentions at the Compasso d’oro, the Dedalo Minosse prize, the prize for innovation in Confcommercio services.
He lives and works in Milan and on Lake Como.
