Kinetic and programmed artist, he graduated and taught at the school of Ulm (60’s).

Design director, essayist and organizer of culture of visibility. Among the awards we remember “Icograda Excellence Award” to the career “for distinguished services to graphic design”, in 1999.

Since 2011, Professor emeritus and past-coordinator of the PhD in Design Sciences at the IUAV University of Venice, where he taught Basic-design and Communication-design theory; he was Director of the Laboratory of Multimodal Design and Director of the Research Unit Graphic and Multimodal Systems (GaMS). Since 2014 he has been teaching the Basic Design course of the Master in Relational Design at the Academy of Design and Visual Arts Abadir.
