Giangiacomo Schiavi began his journalistic career in 1977 at the “Libertà” in Piacenza, then at the Resto del Carlino, at the editorial offices in Bologna and Rome, where he worked on politics and current affairs. Since 1987 he has been at Corriere della Sera, where he was responsible for the news of Rome, deputy head of the news and head of the news in Milan from 1996 to 2004, then deputy director from 2009 to 2015. For his articles he received the Buzzati and Carosso awards. After his trip in a camper in 24 episodes in the neighborhoods of Milan, he was awarded with the Ambrogino d’oro of the City in 2007. He is currently a columnist for Corriere and is responsible for the column of responses to readers “Noi cittadini”.
