VJESH / SINGING Movie Projection by Rossella Schillaci
A documentary about arberesque women in Basilicata, and the relationship between individuals and traditions. The women protagonists of the film tell in an intense way, with courage and extreme irony their stories of migrations and returns, and their relationship, sometimes suffered, with traditions.
This is followed by a conversation with Nicola Scaldaferri, professor of musicology at the Università degli Studi di Milano Statale.
